June 18 through June 20, 2010 the small town of Intercourse, Pennsylvania will serve as the setting for an "old fashioned" family celebration. Our 256th Anniversary Celebration has festivities planned for all ages. Please refer to the listing below. All activities held at the Intercourse Community Park.

Food Showcase – A Taste of Intercourse, a Lancaster County “Foodie Town” for Lancaster’s Flavor Fest Celebration (5 pm. - 9 p.m.)
Lancaster County is renowned for its food, and what better place to experience the foods of Lancaster County than the heart of Lancaster County – Intercourse, PA. Local restaurants, eateries and traditions will be highlighted.
Kids Activities (5 pm - 9 pm) Kids can enjoy the tractor rides and a bounce house.
Pedal Tractor Pull (6:00 p.m.) More great fun for the kids!
Farm Animals ~ Petting Zoo (5 pm - 9 pm) Kids will love the little animals and being able to see their furry friends up close.
Spelling Bee (7:30 pm) Test your knowledge and impress your friends at this community spelling bee.
3rd Annual Shoofly Pie Baking Contest: In Pavilion (No Fees) Pre-registration is available by calling Ellen at 717-768-7166 or e-mail at ebrumpf@frontiernet.net Enter the day of the event by 5:30 p.m. Judging at 7:00 p.m. A $50.00 prize for the Winner!
Volleyball Tournament (5 pm - 9:00 pm) Healthy competition and great fun!

Pancake and Sausage Breakfast in the Park (6:30 am - 10 am) Come for a hearty breakfast prepared by the Intercourse Fire Co.
Quilting: (10:00 am – 4:00 pm) Quilting in the Pavilion.

Candy Drop Bring the kids out for an Airplane Candy Drop 12:00 Noon

Classic Car Show (1 pm -5 pm) Step back in time and wander through a variety of classic cars as they are displayed in the Intercourse Community Park.
Antique Tractor Show (All Day) Enjoy a tractor parade at 4:00 pm.
Tug of War Competition … Great fun… 2:00 p.m.
The Balloon Guy (6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) New this Year!!! Great fun for kids and adults alike! Watch all the great sizes and shapes take form. Be sure not to miss this one!!

Skydiver (6:45 pm) This skydiver will land with a Commemorative 250th Anniversary Banner

Fireworks Display (Begins at Dusk) A perfect ending to the day… a breathtaking fireworks display
Heritage Events (throughout the day) Enjoy hands on demonstrations including horseshoeing, butchering, sling shooting, and wood carving.

Special Sunday Worship Service (10 am - 11:15 am) Enjoy fellowship time, special music and a Sunday worship service. Service will be held at the Intercourse Park
Covered Dish and Ice Cream Social (11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) A local area “tradition”. The community will be gathering to socialize as visitors bring their favorite culinary delight to share with old and new friends! In the Pavillion.
